Dear Rocky Ridge Students and Families: My name is Ms. Hooker, and I am your student’s School Counselor!

I began my journey as an English teacher in Tokyo, Japan, and learned right away that I wanted to pursue teaching as a career. Next, I worked as an English teacher in both Costa Rica and Mexico. After teaching abroad, I completed my Masters of Education in School Counseling from the University of Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completing my education, I moved back to Washington State and have worked for three school districts, both as a teacher and a school counselor. I have an adventurous soul that loves to travel and explore the great outdoors!
