Mrs. Denise Zetterberg

Welcome to 4th grade!  I am Mrs. Zetterberg and thrilled to be your 4th grade teacher!  Our class theme is Superheroes in Training, because all of us have the power to make the world a better place. We will study the traits of superheroes and what that looks like in fourth grade. Our first week is full of activities that will help us to get to know one another.  

I live in Lakewood with my husband, David. We have been married for 38 years and have 3 grown kids named Michael, Laura, and Nathan. I love hanging out with my family, especially with my two grandkids- Hudson and Harper.  I attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate & master's. This will be my fifth year at Rocky Ridge.

A few of my favorite things are: shrimp fried rice, chocolate caramels, crafting, The Giver, Thai food, camping at Lake Chelan, fresh crab, refinishing furniture, hosting family dinners, baking, and math.

Summer challenge: Visit the library and find a good book series to read.  Practice your skip counting and X facts!
