Miss Gabriela Garcia

Hi and welcome to kindergarten! I’m Miss Garcia, and I’m excited to return for another year at Rocky Ridge. I earned my BA in Education from Central Washington University in 1993 and have been a Bethel teacher for over 30 years, teaching grades K, 1, and 2. I’ve spent my entire teaching career at Rocky Ridge and am proud to call this my school home.

I’m the fourth oldest of 12 children, all born and raised in Yakima, Washington. Fun fact: all of our names begin with the letter G—which must be the best letter of the alphabet! I love to travel, and some of my favorite places are Prince Edward Island and Stanwood, Washington.

Some of my favorite things include water, avocado, macadamias, owls, beachcombing, crafting, and reading.
