Ms. Lorrie Downs

I am Lorrie Downs and I am looking forward to having your child as a student in my class. I am happy to welcome you to third grade for the 2024-2025 school year! It is my goal to create a classroom environment where every child feels valued as they become an integral part of a community of learners.

I was born in Oklahoma, but I moved to Washington MANY years ago. I currently live in Puyallup with my two dogs (Oscar and Felix).  This will be my 21st year of teaching and my 15th year at Rocky Ridge.

My favorite things are: pizza, waffle fries, green tea, Milky Way bars, playing with my dogs, and reading.
