Mr. Jon Binschus

Hello! This is my third year at Rocky Ridge and my twelfth year of teaching. I’ve previously taught in China, Egypt, Washington, and Alaska. I love traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. I also enjoy scuba diving and work part-time for a dive shop in Tacoma. In addition, I love playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.

I have taught fourth grade for two years, fifth grade for eight years, and seventh grade for two years. I graduated from high school in 2008 in Spokane, Washington. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Whitworth University in 2013 and completed my master’s degree in Reading at Grand Canyon University in 2016.
